Understanding your Dashboard

A quick guide to the numbers and charts on your Dashboard

Written by Eric Mao

The Dashboard gives you a quick read on how Parakeet is performing for your practice: how many calls and texts were handled, how many appointments were booked, and how much staff time was saved.

To open it, click Dashboard in the left-hand menu.

💡 Your Dashboard may look different. What you see depends on the services your practice uses. Practices that use Parakeet for incoming calls will see an Inbound view, practices that use it for outreach will see an Outbound view, and practices that use both can switch between the two tabs at the top.

Filter the data

Above the charts you'll find three filters:

  • Date: choose a range, such as the previous 12 weeks or the previous 3 months. You can also include or exclude the current period.

  • Time grouping: group results by week or month.

  • Clinic (or Location): show results for one clinic or several.

Inbound

The Inbound tab focuses on calls coming in to your practice. At the top you'll see:

  • Total Calls: how many calls were received

  • Resolved Calls and Resolution Rate: how many calls were resolved, and what share of all calls that represents

  • Time Saved (Agent Time): staff time saved by calls the assistant handled

  • Transfer Rate: the share of calls transferred to your team

Below those are charts showing call volume by clinic, the most common transfer reasons, resolved call categories, and resolution and engagement rates over time.

Outbound

The Outbound tab focuses on outreach your practice sends out, such as referral and recall campaigns. At the top you'll see:

  • Total Appointments Booked

  • Total Outbound Calls

  • Total Sent Texts

  • Call Time Saved (Agent Time)

Below those are charts showing appointments booked by campaign, texts sent by campaign, outbound call attempts, campaign success rates, and resolved opportunities.
